Discover our historic family-run Wine Farmhouse in Frascati: Enjoy a guided Wine and Oil tasting in this beautiful site overlooking Rome, along with the Wine Tour in the vineyards and the Chef’s lunch served at the farmhouse!
Welcome to Frascati!
We suggest you to catch the train in Rome Termini Station at 9:49 a.m. towards Frascati (this is a short and comfortable 20-minute train ride!). We will pick you up in front of the Frascati train station at 11:45am (see the logistics instructions that follows!)
Once you arrive at Frascati station at 10:20 a.m., feel free to take a leisurely stroll through the historic city center or unwind at one of the charming local bars, like “Fondi” or “Belvedere” in Piazza Roma, while waiting for our pickup. Frascati’s old town is home to a beautiful Baroque cathedral that’s well worth a visit!
If you prefer to come with your own car or taxi/uber, you will let us know upon booking and we will provide you with meeting point time and address!
On Saturdays only, times are slightly different and you will read the related instructions that follows!
Wine Tasting and Farmhouse tour…
Once you arrive at the Farmhouse, you will enjoy a guided wine tasting of the boutique wines of the family production: the Frascati Superiore DOCG white wine, and the Vagnolo IGP red wine 100% Cesanese grapes.
The wines will be paired with our own Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced by the family, paired with cheese and Wine-Jam.
After the guided tastings, we will show you around our old vineyards to travel into the past of the winemaking and to show you the same old farming techniques that our family has been adopting for centuries. The Minardi Wine Farmhouse is now a sort of “Frascati Wine Museum” surrounded by ancient vineyards and olive groves.
Time for the farmhouse Lunch… and more Frascati Wine!
We will enjoy a nice lunch prepared by our Chef, including a rich appetizer with several varieties of local seasonal food, plus two typical pasta courses!
Artisanal Frascati Wine Cookies and more Frascati Wine and water are also included in the lunch!
Make sure you let us know when you book if you have special dietary needs!
At the end of the experience, you will be driven back to Frascati center, where you will be free to take the train back to Rome (there is one train every hour until the evening).

How to reach the Minardi Wine Farmhouse in Frascati!

Our WINE TASTING & FARMHOUSE LUNCH experience will start at 12:00 at the Minardi Farmhouse!
IF YOU COME BY by Car, Taxi or Uber we will meet directly at Minardi Frascati Winery (see the position on google maps) at 11:55 am!
IF YOU COME BY TRAIN:
We recommend taking the 9:49 a.m. train from Roma Termini station to Frascati, a quick and comfortable 24-minute ride!
So the meeting point for the WINE TASTING & FARMHOUSE LUNCH experience will be in front of the Frascati train station at 11:45am! (piazzale Sandro Pertini, 00044 Frascati), where we will pick you up with a quick 8 minute drive to go to the Farmhouse and start the experience !
IMPORTANT: THIS WORKS ONLY FOR THE “WINE TASTING & FARMHOUSE LUNCH” experience – While in our other Half Day Tours we pick you up directly at 10:30am at the train arrival!
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SATURDAYS ONLY :
On Saturdays only, Our WINE TASTING & FARMHOUSE LUNCH experience will start at 11:00 am at the Minardi Farmhouse!
IF YOU COME BY by Car, Taxi or Uber, we will meet directly at Minardi Frascati Winery (on google maps) at 10:45 am on Saturday only! On the other days our meeting time will be at 11:55am!
IF YOU COME BY TRAIN: On Saturdays only, take the 10:14 a.m. train from Roma Termini to Tor Vergata, the second station of Frascati (a quick 17-minute ride). We’ll meet you at Tor Vergata station at 10:32 a.m. for an 8-minute transfer to the farmhouse.
On all other days (From Sunday to Friday), take the 9:49 a.m. train from Roma Termini to Frascati’s main station (a 24-minute ride), where we’ll pick you up directly!
